squeeze , some components arent the BEST like the formula 550w but well above average .

screen- lot of people run it on here as when it came out is was £200. screen that splits opinion but cant argue with price, size and 75hz (manually set )

Also, I've put together your build. I was wondering if you're able to provide the links or same build but with the Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1070.

as a monitor - its fine, as one for pure gaming, not worth it, not with your budget !

How about this? Would this all go fine together and has all I need physically to build from scratch? Basically if I buy this and download Windows 10 onto a USB with boot requirements, I would be able to complete the build and start up my computer tomorrow if all is fine?

I assume I can always upgrade the storage if I wished? Is it fine for the OS to be installed on the same storage or better to have them separated?

Also I read somewhere that prebuilts are just as good and often cheaper as manufactures buy in bulk, but is this actually the case?
 
@Lola2012 again would recommend tracking down the monitor Dan mentioned for £350 , 144hz 1440p is better suited to gtx 1070ti then 144hz 1080p , if your going for the samsung screen would pair it with gtx 1070 personally

Also, Intel has advantage over AMD at 1080p gaming, going 1440p evens the playing field !

If you get windows boot tool on a stick, build and install- technically dont have to register Key to get it working and can do that at a later date!

I just do it all on one drive, can always buy more storage later on and steam allows you to save games to different drives

I'm struggling to find said monitor. If it is the AOC AG271QX, I can't find it for £350 anywhere. Unless he means to change it from a 27" to 24" in which case it would reduce the price down to £300.

In regards to your comment about Intel and AMD, is that a suggestion to swap with Intel or get a good monitor as mentioned above to even things out?

So other than the monitor, would you say everything else is good together? If you have any suggestions for a monitor it would be appreciated, I have looked at Danny's comment but where he says you can find AOC AG271QX for £350, I have not been able to. If there are any other monitors around £300 or so that is good then I am happy to swap it in.

If there isn't really anything around for my price range, will dropping to 1070 from 1070 Ti be a considerably negative and noticeable difference?

If I am not fussed about the 1440, what would you recommend outside of those monitors?

If the build above (excluding monitor) is fine, I would be keen to get that ordered so I don't miss the cut off times and use the crap monitor for a day or two until I sort one. I am not obsessed when it comes to monitors, so really anything that will just display it things ok with no problems will do me just fine for now!

We can't tell you where to look, but maybe try some of the very, very, big online retailers that don't specialise in computer stuff, just you know, like everything. :)

No idea, but I just ordered one of those nice AOC's for £351.86 as I have a build to do for a friend-of-a-friend, and he'll be well chuffed as we've just saved £100 on his budget! :)

What was this particular one called that's priced at £351? ;) And is it 1440 and 144Hz?

Using the model details you provided, I found them and the most expensive at £348 but is: Acer XG270HU 27-inch WQHD Gaming Monitor (TN panel, FreeSync, 144Hz, 1ms, ZeroFrame, DP, HDMI, DVI) - I can't see any IPS options. In your opinion, what is better for gaming (what would you choose?), IPS or TN? I am prepared to order this monitor which is on another site, for £348 and will arrive tomorrow.

If you can confirm that will do an alright job and being 1440, 144hz makes the most of the 1070ti, and that the quoted build above at £1241 is all I need, that would be fab so I can press the order button!

sorry,may bad it is TN panel as well... so both are TN panels and one is £300+ and the other £250... mmm cheaper one haha

above looks solid . Up to you if you'd like to spec a nicer case like In Win 301 (no fans ) or Antec P8 etc

and give some thought into Focus 550W PSU - £20 more, fully modular and higher rated unit

I've found the one @Journey is talking about. Sounds like your in the right placed just need to look a bit harder.
