Anything is better than bf 1 retarded gunplay! :D

From what I have heard/seen, it is more like BC 2/bf 4 gunplay again

Yes, I would very much say its similar to BF:BC2 gun play, I've only been playing with the sniper this morning but it is harder to use especially without the sweet spot.

I'm just trying to tweak my settings at the moment as the default has all the pretty stuff on, its also worth updating your GPU drivers which I am going at the mo.

Great news!

Bad luck mate, it's normally you that gets into these things (didn't you get bf1 and swbf2 alphas?). Anyway it's fine BBQ weather :)

Yup! And bf 4, 3 + hard-line closed alphas.....

Like I said, my feedback for bf 1 probably didn't sit well with the developers this time :D :( :p

And yup, clear blue sky and 28 degrees already here

Exciting times. Is anyone running a 980ti or similar power card (1070?) can you let me know what fps you're getting...i'm hoping i can run it on mine without upgrading and wait til nvidia release their 7nm cards next year

Fps are all over the place right now, to be expected as its closed alpha, but with a 4790k @4.6ghz and a 1080ti, its was around anywhere between 120 and 60fps. That was with Chromatic aberration and other bells and whistles on. A lot smoother with them all off (obvs) but still clunky at times.

Gunplay is really good, ttk is pretty quick and it's unforgiving. I'm no BF sniper, but messed with it quickly to do the 3 headshot challenge and it was rewarding to land a sweet shot right in the dome.

Not a fan of the British player models, look like modern day soldiers with WW2 weaponry.

Im still figuring out wtf i'm doing though, but for a quick blast is was good fun.

Not being able to spot people is a pain.

Recently the FNB servers have been running a very similar settings (No minimap at all, only players on your team in your direct line of sight are labeled as friendly etc), and the games have been really fun (when friendly fire was disabled). People relying on their ability to spot silhouettes not dorritos and using their ears much more to detect the presence of enemies. The gameplay didn't slow down much and seemed more tactical and not having a lot of label clutter in your field of view was nice. In bf1 standard modes I often get killed by an un-spotted enemy right in front of me because I'm blinded by the names and blue spots of my team who have just run past the enemy oblivious. Clearing up the UI noise will be good IMO, although from what I saw of the EAplay footage, they managed to replace it with other unnecessarily distracting clutter (the skulls and the ribbon awards for example)

I turn off so much hud crap in games now. For bf 1, kill feed, ribbons and awards are turned off. Wish I could off the ammo/grenade stuff too.
