Hey peeps,

I had a moment and ordered an 8700k binned/delided 5.0 while they're on discount.

I don't have a motherboard to put it in, but it felt too good to miss :P

Interested in suggestions for a sensible match. Currently eyeballing an Asrock Taichi but it might be overkill for "just" 5ghz?

Would like (in preference order):
- solid VRMs, but don't need like LN2 extreme OC levels of solidity, I guess?
- at least 2x m.2, placed well away from the GPU. Currently using a 960 Pro, and it demands cool air!
- wifi AC
- mATX would be nice but not if it compromises the above

Also, my current AiO is about 5 years old, and I feel like I should swap it before it inevitably fails/leaks. I'm not against an air cooler if there's a very quiet option, but also interested in another 280mm AiO. Any recommendations either way?

Thanks!

Well that's a good combination right there, I'd just go with that tbh

Good show :) I did swap the cooler for a Corsair 115i Pro because it was reviewed as being really really quiet, but a bit of research last night left me content with the motherboard as being a good choice.

Yeah, the Taichi has got really good reviews and I'm sure ocuk staff has sang its praises too.

Excellent :) I was briefly dreading the change, but now I'm actually excited to actually have some high tier hardware to work with... first time spending over a hundred on a board I think ^^;
