FIFA World Cup 2018 - Round of 16 [30th June, 1/2/3 July] **spoilers**

Cba with another 30 minutes, I'll check reddit for video clips later of anything exciting which is unlikely to happen.

Time to play some Battlefield instead.

Croatia did the same at Euro 2016, looked good in the group beating Spain etc and then **** in the knockout stage.

Tbh, even though this game hasn't been great, it wouldn't surprise me if either of these teams got to the final. Both hard to beat. Capable of beating anyone. On this side of the draw, anyone can beat anyone.

Croatia aren't as good as people thought.

It really is funny how sure people are when they try to predict what’s going to happen.

You just can’t predict tournament football. If you try then ultimately you end up looking silly.

The fact competition is so high is evidence to the exact opposite of this. The standard is very good, it’s just not coming from where people expected.

I disagree completely, the standard is very poor. It's competitive but not because the standard is high. There is a distinct lack of quality throughout, Germany, Argentina, Spain, all lacking quality.

People are automatically deciding because it hasn’t been bossed by any of the teams you mention that it must be because they’re lacking quality.

It’s actually because they’re being matched and competition is incredibly close. The quality is quite literally world class.

No...I'm deciding because I've watched every team. Where is this world class quality?
