Well, typical, my 1 year old 1070 is developing a fan fault. I am going to buy a replacement then send this one back to Gigabyte for repairs. My question is, though, what do I do with the 1070 when it comes back in a months time? I have an emergency PC that I use in case of instant catastrophic failure ( !!! ) and it needs an update albeit it's not critical and I am trying to work out whether to sell or keep the repaired 1070. Does anyone know what good condition 1070's are selling for at the moment?

If you game at 1080p then no. Keep what you have

No point keeping 2x 1070 unless you want SLI which is not great tbh, what's the point. With new cards about to be released resell value will likely drop considerably in few months time.

Depending on warranty, age of card, type of card and how much use its had, ie mining or not. you can get anywhere from £270-£330 is the price i see them going for in the forum market right now or take risk with ebay.

Unless a backup PC is absolutely needed but the likelihood of a fault developing is quite rare with your new card.
