Yakuza Series PS4 Play order ?

So I am planning to play the Yakuza games on the PS4.

So if I play them in this order:

Yakuza 0
Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza 6
Yakuza Kiwami 2


Does that look about right ?

I would swap kiwami 2 and 6

Chronologically, swapping Kiwami 2 and 6 makes sense but from the enjoyment standpoint I'd keep your order as is. Kiwami 2 is a better game than 6 and the stories are mostly standalone, 6 reduces most of the classic characters to mere cameos.

Frankly, the same can be said about 0 and Kiwami but here playing in order makes a lot more sense as the stories are closely connected.

Just bought Yakuza 0 as it's on the cheap. Played it for over an hour bit of a slow burner but the story and karaoke has me interested.

Loads to do besides that and Zero's story is great in particular. The sidequests are ridiculous, you'll be hooked in no time

I do seem to remember playing Yakuza on the PS2 years ago, but can't remember if I finished it.

I'm holding off playing Yakuza 6 until I play through 5.
I was hoping it would be on PS Now by this point, but not in the EU.
It's on the US PS Now though, so I might see how that goes.
