Not a traditional daily encounter, as its a daily encounter with a photograph!
But an E-Type Jag being used as a tow car for an MG TF track car. Circa 1962. The TF now owned by someone in the Octagon car club (Dads a member)
The E-Type was left sitting for decades and sold at auction quite recently, the TF was also left sitting since 1968 but was recently bought and restored.
I just had to take a picture of the photo because of the novelty of seeing an E-Type towing.

I've mentioned it on here before but a bloke near me has N1 on his RR. Not only does the car cost more than his house is worth but I imagine the plate does too!
