I'd be more interested hearing from sub 50k chief earner examples like above. Where I've person can and one person can't eat at fancy restaurants. Or the hotel can't go on holidays to Thailand because her partner can't.

What kind of **** relationship would that be that one person would say "I can afford to go, well sorry you can't, see you in two weeks" seems like those people don't understand what a relationship is and are just selfish children or on the spectrum.

What I find weird in this thread is that so many people talk about what their friends would say if their partner was on lower incomes, like do people just go around handing out their wage slips/credit references to their family or discussing how much they/their partners make?

I have never told or discussed such topics with any of my friends, like ever.

You accept that the sexes are dimorphic, including with regards to their behavior, but think this is irrelevant to how heterosexual couples interact with one another over the jobs they work and the pay they receive?

Dunno why there is skepticism about DP living in the alps, pretty sure he's mentioned it before in other threads. There was one where a poster asked for advice about moving to Germany/Switzerland IIRC.

No, I think it js irrelevant that your partner having a different sex means there is an issue if they also earn more. Gender might explain why there is differences in the mean, doesn't explain why anyone should give a **** unless they are sexist
