This single pivot system doesn’t work very well. Dier and Henderson get overrun when defending and pressed off the ball when starting attacks.

Double pivot with one of Lingard/Ali behind the strikers please

Was that sarcasm? my point was despite reaching the semi final we're not really any better than we were 4-8 years ago. If we'd had tougher fixtures we'd have probably gone out during the last 16 as usual (which we nearly did anyway against Colombia).
