New Line - Fiber Broadband Order

Definitely a database issue which OR can easily rectify. Most definitely not something I would sit on my arse for 'Openreach to update details at their end'... :p It needs escalating which you have done, hopefully BT/OR will resolve it sooner rather than later.

VM is an option if it's available, I would try search start of your postcode/town on the VM forums - just to see if there are any complaints about congestion/utilisation issues as it can be common in some areas of the country.

Either way, I'd still get Openreach to resolve the database record so you have the option there for now or future choice. I find VDSL much more reliable, better ping times and more responsive than VM's network.

Well...no response from BT yet except for an email acknowledging my mail to them, this was last week, no contact since...
MissChief is also helping me on the side too :)
 
Got a response from the executive complaints team after my mail to the CEO - seems positive. They said they have made some progress on the issue and are hoping to get the database updated shortly with correct information.

Fingers crossed.
 
Sorry to bump but have a completion date now and I have ordered Sky Fibre as i got a decent deal when doing the house move!
