Day trip to Wales

No problem... And if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. You should head over to Saundersfoot. Me and the other half stayed at a really nice spa there.

Saundersfoot is all about going into the Arcades and winning some tickets and exchanging them for a bouncy ball or 2. *reminisces about childhood holidays to Tenby & Saundersfoot*

Na, it's the challenge to walk up that bloody steep hill after a skin full down the Royal Oak! lol :D

I was too young to have a skinfull back then xD must have been about 15 years since i've last been to Saundersfoot, been 8 years since I was last in Tenby when me and my old man wanted to have a bit of nostalgia , Funny enough being there when I was eighteen, compared to when i was 6-14 years old it didn't feel the same, We sat over looking the beach with a pint and both said it doesn't feel special anymore, was quite a sad moment when you realise we used to get excited about it when I was a kid.

Been a long time since it was that kind trip down Saundersfoot :-/

Nowadays it's ice-cream's all round, and back to the hotel early so the kids can go to sleep lol

But a least we can have fun at the Arcades though but you need soooo many tickets to get something decent! haha!

We have the holiday down Tenby for a week or two in Kiln Park, We'd go down saundersfoot some of the days at night, Then do the usual Oakwood, FollyFarm, heatherton.....Those were the days *Cries endlessly*

I didn't spend much time down there. Stayed in the spa and took evening walks on the beach lol

My mates have just got new cars (in the last 2 months anyway) so we took a road trip into Wales for a couple of nights, out near Fishguard. We went to the Blue Lagoon were they all did cliff jumping while I filmed with my drone :)

We all had radios in our cars, Top Gear style. Great fun :)

Hi all, myself and a couple of friends from Warwickshire are planning a driving trip to Wales this coming Sunday (22nd). If any of you would like to join us with your cars please let me know. We plan to leave early in the morning and return late afternoon. You can either start the drive with us or meet us along the way.

What's the plan here? As I'm actually quite interested in coming along with our Cooper S! (If you'll allow such an exotic to not show you all up...) :)

I'm based in Worcestershire.

It's almost like the OP think Wales is a tiny little area and doesn't want to tell anyone where he's planning on going.

You planning on going Invader? Could meet you around Abergavenny? :)

Once we know where we're definitely going, anyway...
Depends on where he plans on heading but I am tempted, haven't taken the mk2 out in ages for a proper drive, although it's slower than OP's car by some margin. :D
