I am looking for a new pillow. I have always used feather ones.

I like it to be comfortable and not hot.

Recently bought a new feather one but it stinks of 'foul'. I have washed it a few times and thoroughly tumble dried it yet it still smells of 'foul'. Not as strong as when purchased.

What do you chaps use / recommend? Ta

Water pillows lol, think they would make me sea sick :p, can you not hear the water moving around, when you move your head?

i buy anti allergy ones from M&S. Not even as expensive as M&S sounds either.

buying natural stuff IMO is a complete waste of money. All this goose down, etc. You are literally throwing money away.

I've got this alongside my water pillow. I'll +1 it for the comfort, however I only use it in winter, as any other time of year it's too hot, which is when I use my water pillow.

Never had an issue with it being too hot, but I do sleep with a fan on during summer months.

We use these pocket sprung pillows. I have problems with my neck and with normal pillows I wasn't sleeping well due to pain and kept getting a sore ear from lying on my right side all night. We got these last month and no more sore ear and it's easier on my neck so I sleep much better. They are so comfy and are around medium firm. You only need one pillow per person as they are the perfect height. I will never go back to normal pillows.

What are they like firmness wise? Supple or not?

I like something in between firm (rock hard) and soft with a bias to firm.

They are firm, but squashy. I replaced some really expensive down pillows with them as I just got completely fed up having to puff the down ones every ******** day

Any foam or down pillow I've had would make me sweat and always be a bit too soft with little in the way of support. Been using a buckwheat husk filled pillow for about the last 8-9 months and it's the best money I've ever spent, cool and great support, won't ever have anything else now I've had this.
