Who’s been to Diggerland (JCB Experience and Dumper Racing) and is it worth it?

I’m thinking of buying the JCB Experience (£79.99 – 90 minutes) and Dumper Racing (£39.99) experience for someone.

Has anyone been to these events? Has anyone been to the Diggerland park in general?

I guess the question I'm asking is, is it fun?

If it helps we’ll be going to the Yorkshire park.

Any advice?

Thanks

Nope but 90 mins in a JCB which is probably restricted in what you can do for £80 is not value for money in my eyes. Same with those super car driving experiences.

We went to Diggerland, Devon a few years ago with our son. Was alright for a day out. You get to drive a digger, or use the scoop etc. Don't think I'd pay £80 for an extended go on one, though.

I'm wanting to take my kids (ones 2 and the others 4.5). My eldest can go on quite a few rides as shes at the right height. It looks pretty cool (this is the castleford one). It would be interesting to know if its as good as i think it is.

Went on one of these about 15 years ago.
It was a decent enough day out. Digger racing (for adults) across a bumpy field was good fun - you need the hardhat if you're not 5ft tall!
It is completely different to a supercar experience or trackday.

Seem to remember the kids things would be ok for a 6 year old, probably a bit dull for a 12 yr old.

If you've ever driven a digger for a job or worked on a farm, its probably not that much fun.

Brilliant thanks for the feedback.

Diggerland is a kids thing, isn't it?

They have adult attractions.

My Brother in Law has worked on the assembly line at JCB for years, we watched the DieselMax do it's thing on a big screen there whilst surrounded by loads of big boys toys.

My mate paid for him and his dad to go and do the racing a few years ago and they both loved it.

Been twice, including for my (surprise) 30th birthday party. Had a great time on both occasions. The attitude of all the staff was great, makes all the difference when they're having fun too. You can get up to a surprising number of activities with construction vehicles.

Not tried any extended paid for experiences though.

we had a digger type attraction here for all of 20 seconds, i went and even as a wide eyed kid it was massively underwhelming, also speaks volumes that the place was relatively new and completely empty (we were literally the only people there)
