Recommended glass screen protector for damaged S7 Edge?

Hi all,

My girlfriend dropped her Samsung S7 Edge yesterday and the screen now looks like a spider's web. I would say that approximately 80% of it is cracked, but it's still intact and the LCD works perfectly.

Would someone mind recommending a glass screen protector that we could apply to it just to hold it together until the Pixel 3 is released?

I ordered the Ultimate Shield Tempered Glass Screen Protector (link).

I know it'll more than likely be crap, but I only need it to hold the glass together for the next 4 months. Fingers crossed.
 
I gave one of these to my partner when I bought the s9. She did the same thing, dropped it and the screen cracked. It worked for a few days then just totally gave up the ghost and would not come on ever again. I was rather cross as I was planning to give it to my daughter but was pleaded with.

I'm not convinced by the S7 robustness. She still has the Sony Z2 I gave her 2 years ago which has had similar treatment and still running OK.

Aww that sucks. Hopefully this one doesn't do the same thing!

This is the second phone she's destroyed in ~12 months :( I was never convinced by mobile phone insurance, but it's starting to look more and more appealing.
