First off remember this is a forum and not just OCUK staff so "you guys" is not the people here. If you want to post direct to OCUK staff then use the Customer Service section on the forum, if you need help here then give us your budget and the monitor resolution you use.

Can a MOD remove this thread please?

leave it up, whats your budget for upgrading ?

forum users and comment and leads to with idea's to ask OCUK etc etc

if your using latest Vegas version, then AMD Ryzen has a massive boost of performance !

naturally, to save most cash, just slap in i7 4*** for your board, would have an increase in rendering and gaming performance due to being 8 threads over your current 4, but again ryzen does nicely!

older version of vegas with 4 core 8 thread intel vs 8 cores/16 thread ryzen

Budget is around £400 - £500

if your running Sony Vegas 14 and specially 15 will offer a solid boost in performance, i'll be honest, gaming you wouldn't see as much of an increase . would would give ou the most is GPU upgrade but 970 is still a damn good card, specially at 1080p gaming.

but, realised youve got matx case so might need to change it- bundle also comes with free 240GB SSD

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £385.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

wanting to stick to intel ;

Jumping from 4 core/ 4 thread 3.7ghz all core boost to 6 core/ 12 thread 4.3ghz all core boost
This would out perform the ryzen 2600 bundle above in gaming and editing/rendering but your also paying for the difference
also in the same mATX format as your current build

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £523.42 (includes shipping: £10.50)
