We live at the end of a cul de sac on a hill with no street lights. Lost driver tried turning around.

Looks OK but still waiting for a crane to get it out. Granite stones will need a bit of tidying up but hopefully wall is ok, young driver was quite shaken up. Been here this morning with his dad waiting for the RAC but they are a no show so far. Driver and his dad been very nice about things as have we ;-)

Reversed over the edge then when trying to go forwards is looks like it just slipped down, it was raining and had been all day. Attempts to get back up just got the car to slip further down against the house.

Doh! Won't it be easier to pull it out rather than use a crane?
Maybe but that is the recovery peoples decision, I would but then I wouldn't want to be responsible. The only inconvenience I have is that I can't get my wheelie bin past :D

Recover driver wad rude accused the driver of lying about it happened. Says it can't be recovered without destroying the car and probably damaging the house. Owner is going to consult friends.

You what? Just get a landy and some rope and pull it out, yea the cars not gonna be in great shape but its hardly going to explode now is it...

Lol what?! Strops on the 2 outer wheels. Skids under the 2 inner. Pull it out away from the house. Job done.

Owner has cancelled recovery, going to consult a mechanic friend. I have suggested a wood ramp can be built. Probably see tomorrow now.
