It's too hot :(

Its getting hotter again, as I said earlier i went outside and noticed it was pretty hot outside, I measured it about an hour later at 29C. (not in shade so probably higher than forecasted temp)

When the sun started shining towards window the temp in my room rose to 28.5C gradually and was measuring outside at 33C (in sun not shade), but then the sunlight ran out, now its 27.6. For me its too hot again, sweaty again, although its not as bad as last week yet.
 
The models seem to be mainly agreeing on a shift towards the normal british conditions for August given how the jet stream is playing, but for this weekend into next week it's still looking favourable for low 30s in the SE and low - mid 20s in the north.

Which model will be correct...who knows but either way its been an amazing summer so far.

GEFS so far has been generally correct - just over-estimating maximum temperatures by around 3-4C - so far it looks like August will progressively become more of a contrasty month as it gets going and I suspect that will be the theme for the rest of the summer/first half autumn as typically years with this kind of setup do - its just been delayed a little bit this year with the bulk of the warmth in July instead of June as has happened in the past with these kind of disturbed pattern setups.
 
Our main office has a glass wall on one side and our MD gutted the Air Con when we bought the place 4/5 years ago. Luckily i'm not there much but it was like a wall of heat walking into those offices, surprised anyone could focus.
 
Its warm already, but its nice. Little breeze off the sea today, and the nights are forecast much cooler then they where during the heatwave.
 
Perfect day here today. Not too hot (mid 20’s). Nice bit of sun and the odd cool breeze. Very nice indeed. Wouldn’t mind a month of it.

Most of August could actually be quite pleasant going by latest GEFS output

Some odd days where it might be dull and rainy in amongst though - not looking like a return to the heat other than a brief blip as of right now though that can easily change.
 
Currently near Dijon and it was 34c yesterday. Struggling to find shelter from the sun. It is 'only' 32c today. Expecting 37c on Saturday.
