Scammer gets scammed

Pretty funny, poor chap on other end though and least he's trying to earn a wage.

If you transfer 50p I can take out another tenner lol.

Was expecting a tech support scammer getting done over and destroying their network, not the old school winnings scam.

theres a twitch streamer called kitboga who spends his stream wasting time of scammers, hes got very good at it and its pretty funny to watch.

Yeah Kitboga is very very good, been subbed to his stream for a while now,

Every Sunday he does a coding stream, where he makes booby-trapped apps to mess with the tech support scammers, when they connect to his honey-trap virtual machine. He coded an exact copy of the windows notepad, so that when the scammers connect and start using it - it mistypes words, letters, randomly deletes words, adds delay and stuff, at one point it randomly changed the font to webdings :D - it's ******* hilarious watching them try to use it, there's a fake netstat, all manner of fake stuff, some of the streams have me literally in pain from laughing, he has some of them on the phone for hours sometimes..

that one is a bit tame, there was one on the something awful forums years ago where they not only sent a fake laptop from the US to the scammer in London (and he had to pay some customs charges IIRC) but one forum user staked out the address (a barbers shop) in order to take photos of the delivery moment.

Yeah I remember that, I think it was 'p-p-p-p-powerbook' or something, where they drew a picture of a powerbook, including the screen, keys and stuff and put it in a box and yeah - he ended up paying the customs, that was YEARS ago :D
