Hi,

Came across this a while back, the owner is selling it for pennies.
Can anybody help identify what it is? I am presuming it's a 924 but other than that I know nothing else.

Sorry for the bad pictures, the reg plate is - B812 BJO.

Obviously its a non runner and the only information I got was that it turned over last time he tried it years back :D

would you buy it? if so how much would you pay? not looking to do it up or anything.

That's a 924 – looks to be just a standard 2.0-litre version with Turbo wheels. Auto or manual? Been off the road for 12 years. Quite the project, potentially.

I'd probably pay about £250-£500, depending on how sound it is.

You'll get £300 for it, so no. :D

I only say that because more presentable (on the surface) examples have sold for around £350 in recent history. I keep looking at the likes of the 924S as they're still on my radar as an interesting daily.

A clean 924 or 944 can be quite a fine thing, though, if you can get over the stigma. The 924S, in particular, is a stout bit of kit. :)

For £100 it might be fun to just to see what can be done with it.

If it's really dead, you'll probably get way more than that just for the parts.

Nah, 924's have been worth nothing for a good while now and don't show any real signs of changing

I guess if you got it for free and slowly sorted it out it would be a good project, but otherwise I don't see the appeal
