Clever. Except I am not near my TV. I am at away with work and would like to order it now rather than later. Otherwise.... I wouldn't have asked.
Anywhere near a PC World to be able to pop in and measure?Clever. Except I am not near my TV. I am at away with work and would like to order it now rather than later. Otherwise.... I wouldn't have asked.
Is it?? I've said the TV is 50". Just wondering what a good size LED strip is for a 50" TV. Hardly "how long is a piece of string" is it?Yet another how long is a piece of string post.
Andi.
That's so yesterday, philips Hue is where its at FTW.Isn't LED strip behind a TV a bit council
Just get one of those 5m chinese jobbies and cut to length. I've had one running for 1.5 years straight without turning off and it's still fine

Would have though 50" would do it
Well yes because you haven't specified where you want the LED strip, it could be a simple 1cm LED in the middle at the back or the length 3 of the 4 sides (or I suppose 4 sides). In which case a tape measure to PC World will tell you how long the max would be it then comes down to you decide how long that "piece of string" needs to be.Is it?? I've said the TV is 50". c^2 = 2500 sq in.50" would be the diagonal measurement - use Pythagoras to work out the width (should be about 44" dependent on bezel width).
