Sooo there’s no point waiting for this?
Should I just buy a 1080/1070ti/vega56/vega64??
I have been waiting a long time to upgrade!
If you not locked to gsync then the Vega 64 with 3 games on offer for £450 looks a good deal right now.

If they don't want to upgrade it will, but if they do, then it'll cost em 3k, for the Titan.
We still have yet to actually know with certainty. But the writing is on the wall. It’s sounds like my expectations have been hit with a big blow. A well .
The answer is indeed yes. However, there is a slight snag. Ray Tracing. IMO RT will be the new "tessellation" of gaming. Where by the end of 2019 we might start seeing it here and there in future game titles. How much, back porting older games, etc is still anyone's guess. Unlike AMD, Nvidia has plenty of capital to invest in backporting RT if they so choose.Sooo there’s no point waiting for this?

The list says GDDR6
they gotta be using HBM for titan. Come on Nvidia...iirc the list says GDDR6 for the 2080, but says unknown for the Titan
V64 Devil is at at £449 at OCUK with £100+ worth of games with it. (AC Origin etc).Sooo there’s no point waiting for this?

Nice scoop!Very interesting video by AdoredTV.]
Yeah I noticed, sadly it’s a 3 slot card, I have a mini itx case and it just wouldn’t fit. I do fancy that gigabyte vega64, if it fits...V64 Devil is at at £449 at OCUK with £100+ worth of games with it. (AC Origin etc).
Is cheaper than the GTX1080s par 1, and cheaper even than some V56s and 1070Tis.
While is with the nitro+ the best custom V64s.
2080 only 8% faster than the 1080Ti and with LESS VRAM. Well, there is not having competition for you. Sad time. If only AMD could save us from Nvidia like they have with Intel.
We do need AMD back competitive in the GPU space.

The reason why I suggested backporting older games for RT is because they aren't going to release a new high end part "RTX" without some sort of game support. Sure, I believe there are a few games in the works even at the time of this post. However I'm equally sure they want to show something "now". A backported game with RT support would probably be the quickest option for them. And I wouldn't be surprised if Unreal Engine will be the pathfinder for it.
So the only choice is the Titan RTX then....![]()
Assuming these rumours are in anyway on the money, it'll be an RTX 2080 for me. Should be a nice little boost in performance.
Someone from Nvidia leaks something to an AMD fanboy channel (weird in itself) and everyone goes crazy!
Also why was anyone expecting a 2080 to handily beat a 1080ti. Surely that's what the 2080ti is for.
I’ve waited to long to upgrade totally disappointed![]()
