Leg broken in 12 places and laid up in hozzy!

So yeah I've just had a kick in the balls, consultant has just informed me that its now 3 months until I can weight bare on my leg.

So where I was hoping at the end of the week I would be able to start getting properly mobile I've now had another 4 weeks added to it. I know its best to be safe and obviously I don't want to reinjure myself but I'm absolutely gutted.

If I was getting to do anything more than bed rest and get into my wheelchair etc I wouldn't be so frustrated.

I need to get home and start trying to get my life back in order.

Are you able to go swimming? Or at least into a swimming pool? And surely you can do loads of things in a wheelchair?

I can suggest some card games (not just a deck of cards) that you could play in whilst you're laid up if you want? :)

No swimming pool at the hospital mate, and im stuck in here for the foreseeable future it seems.

What card games?

If you want a challenge you could learn slight of hand with cards. A month should be enough time to get a reasonable classic pass.

There are lots of videos on Youtube about this move, but here's one (his humour is a bit "edgy" but his pass is extremely good):

Trust me, another month in this dump I may very well.... Play.

That's why I wont go in even though I have been told 4 times I need to go into hospital.

Soldier on mate you will make it. ;)

Out of curiosity why have they not offered a wheel chair and home help? You should not be stuck in that hole for a month.

I'm guesssing it's because his leg is too ****** to let him go home.

Non weight bearing is a ****. A mistake now could undo a lot of healing.

Am quite sure OP can hop on one leg to get into a wheel chair.

The Royal Hospital is a nightmare, he should be offered a wheel chair and home help.

Walton prison is probably more comfy than the Royal. lol :D

I'm glad you're not his doctor. :)
