This, AMD arrived late and offered similiar performance to the Nvidia counterpart. AMD's biggest problem in my mind now is that they are getting so out of sync with Nvidia and as so it gets harder to close the gap.
The imaginary gap?

But AMD are not releasing anything any time soon. 1080Ti is already ahead, not to mention the Titan Xp and V, now the gap will become huge. The imaginary gap?
What imaginary gap are you refering. AMD's best competes with Nvidia's mid range cards, where have AMD got something that competes with the Ti and Titan?
The same you are I think. AMD don't have anything priced at the Ti and above and I think anyone is arguing too hard the Vega64 is competitive against the 1080ti. I don't think many people would consider £450 mid range cards.
Oh, we're all laughing, alrightHere is the thing. AMD are very competitive right now and the notion that Nvidia are ahead is laughable.
Dang if the 2080Ti rumour is true already, might have to consider that instead of the 2070.
How is the Vega64 competitive against the 1080Ti? I assume you are talking purely on price (forgetting that a handful of months ago they were dearer than the Ti)
All you have to do is check the 3Dmark scores on page 2 and 3 of this very forum.
Lol. You clearly have a hard time distinguishing fact from fantasy also.I think you might have misread something. The Vega64 is an option against 1080Ti. I'd have a hard time picking between them.
I fully intend to go full mental and buy 2...Imagine I just went mental I bought a 2080Ti.
I mustn't I mustn't. I don't need a new GPU. It's CPU time.
