I feel like I am getting some kind of bottle neck

Well according to those results your memory is running at 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz. That will cost performance and with a 7700k anything up to 20% depending on the game. Is the 7700k overclocked?

No mate it's not OC, tbh I did think potentially maybe the memory is not great. I have the cheapish XMS3 memory. Corsair XMS3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX16GX3M2A1600C11) got it from here ages ago

Is it possible to OC this memory or any recommendations for an Upg

Id personally not trust the benchmark all that much, It skewed largely by overclocked systems and on my laptop wont even run as it tells me there is no compatible video card even though it has a vega/ kaby lake g onboard.

My desktop it tells me my vega is under performing but it was run in power saver on vega, there is also not enough info to gauge my ram performance :(:

You would probably be better off with something like heaven or superposition for gauging performance imo.

No, it’s Team Group DDR4 that’s not running at the correct speed, not Corsair DDR3. States it plain as day on the report.

Go into your bios and set it to it's proper speed of 3200mhz. There should be a XMP profile for it. I would be overclocking the cpu to around 4.8Ghz as well. No point in paying a premium for a Z series motherboard and unlocked K series cpu if you are not going to make the most of them. Do you have a decent cpu cooler? What make and model psu do you have?

hey thanks for the reply.

So firstly I went into bios and put on the XMP profile, it wouldn't boot, unsure why.

I just read up a basic OC for the CPU and changed the voltage to 1.35 and multiplier to 48 and it seems fine https://imgur.com/gallery/sFf7KMA

However, I am not sure why the thing didn't boot when I changed the memory to XMP profile.

PSU - RM850x , also have a EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply sitting there doing nothing as I had to RMA the SN and got impatient so bought the other one.

Also I have realtemp on and max temps currently have been 52o on the CPU
