I've correct it. It was Oct. 2017Did the 1070ti really release that early? I thought it was at best a year old, not a couple of months shy of two!

Maybe they can ask to borrow Intels chiller?Wonder if they'll have another doozy of a press conference, having the card overclocked with the cooler screaming to show temps and core clock and not tell the attendees how it was achieved.

Do we have any definitive ideas on the time of the reveal yet? I've seen 6/7 PM banded around but no confirmation if that is 6PM BST/7 EU time or if people are unsure if it's 6 or 7 EU time.
They will upgrade to the 2080Ti surely? I expect that will be at least a good 40% faster than a 1080TiJust gonna be interesting to see how many 1080ti owners "upgrade" to this if the performance bump is as small as has been reported (8%). I get loving to have the new shiny toy but if those numbers are legit that's a total waste of time.

That was for the 2080... the 2080Ti should be more... and it entirely depends what games you play. Some will be single figure % improvement, some double that. The 8% was an average. I don't think many 1080Ti owners will go for the 2080 if the 2080Ti is available.

Only because the 1080ti was not released at the same time though I would imagine.Plenty on here and other forums "upgraded" from a 980ti to a 1080. Which at best was a sidegrade. I would expect the ti variant to come much later which leaves many with itchy fingers wanting to press the buy button.![]()
