This is probably going to smash the next-gen into two - PC with RTX and consoles without it. Not just differences with resolution and/or framerate anymore but something completely new.

I need this in my BF life, I upgrade my card every 2 years just for FPS in BF games alone, this is a massive plus!!

So battlefield could potentially have this, just because its in a demo doesn't really mean it will be in the game. Plus, no talk about framerate impact, etc.

Theyre actually much better ingame, not sure whats going on there, its like they've dumbed the effect down so it doesn't harm the framerate. Plus the stream being pixelly doesn't help.

That is because the other effects probably are impacting FPS I suspect.

That BF5 looks nice sure, but when you are going full tilt are you really going to stop at look at it? Not really. Cut scenes will look fab though

It's all pretty and that, but for a game like Battlefield it's all too much. You'll never notice it because if you're standing there staring at the reflections in the windows, you're going to get shot, and shot and shot.

It also looked like the cards were smeared with Vasaline, which was kinda ironic considering the price of the cards powering the demo.

970 even with issues was a little over 260 … now a 2070 is twice that... wow actually want a little cry inside

BF5 Ray tracing is awesome, pls keep it enable while I won't for that competitive edge, thank you.
