The audience at the event are on the level of the Apple fanboy audience, clapping at getting their wallets rinsed :p

Then again, Nvidia probably bribed them with a free RTX 2070 to be delivered in 2020, just for attending and being enthusiastic.

it's not the type of thing people are going to look for in an online shooter, looked ok in the demo but its not even confirmed that it will be in the game. It could well be something they done as a demo and nothing more. Plus we don't even know how it effects framerate, so theres a chance it hits fps hard enough to be unfeasible for online play.
