Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

Bit of a farce of a presentation overall, no performance numbers whatsoever, just Jensen flapping his gums about stuff 99.9% of people watching didn't care about. So people are sticking in their pre orders for a product with unknown performance currently.

What I find hilarious us they completely omitted FPS figures in current titles that have no RTX raytracing support. Or intinf any fps figures lol.

Total showmanship and smoke screening from Nvidia.

Faster than a Titan for a 2070... But only at Raytracing... But that wouldn't sound as cool so we just say it's faster and leave it at that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 2070 is not as fast as the 1080ti in current titles.

Will give Nvidia their due though, they are forward thinking with this stuff, it's just a shame it's going to be black box again.

Some of that tech looks crazy good and that alalo will sell cards by the truckload
 
The issue that could happen is when miners test these out. if the Computing rate is bonkers expect a steep rise in price as stock evaporates.
