58% of all rapes in Sweden committed by immigrants

The amount of stories you hear about rape in Sweden it's a wonder the country hasn't fallen apart, women over there must see it as just part of life now. Just checked stats they are second highest in the world after Botswana.

I did read somewhere a couple of days ago about the rise of the right in Sweden so who knows.

On topic:

How can they confirm this? I thought the ethnic origin and immigration status of all criminals was not disclosed in Sweden? Translating the article doesn't seem to give much info.
 
jsmoke, the thing in Sweden though is that if a woman for example would report that her husband have been raping her, each forced intercourse is counted as a single rape. So it could be a report filed for lets say 150 rapes, but all done by one person.

Mason-, the professor who commented in this link also said that there should be done a bit more research to why those groups are more involved in rapes (such as socio-economic reasons etc). And after all, considering that Sweden took in 1000's of refugees/immigrants in the last years, less than 850 people have been convicted for rape or attempted rape in 5 years it's not that high of a number that have been found guilty.

It would be interesting to get some statistics on the % of rapers in the immigrant population against the % in the native.

If we were to stop posting stuff in here that had been posted about several times before you would have to close the forum down because it would be dead.

Is this just something you don't like so are finding something to complain about instead of actually commenting on the story?

I'm not at the moment able to find info about that. But here is some info about the amount of inmates in Swedish prisons. In October 2017 there was 4 148 inmates in Swedish prisons. Approximately 10 000 more people had convictions which lead to open care (house arrest, ankle brace etc)
19% of them are in the ages 25-29 years of age. The most common crimes are violent crimes (assaults, murders, gbh etc) with 31%, narcotics and smuggling is second with 26%, robberies third on 10% and sexual crimes on 9% (that is not only rapes amongst those crimes though). It is pretty low numbers considering the Swedish population is close to 10 millions now.
