When are 1080 going to be reduced

Maybe never :( with the prices of the new cards and the currently unknown performance, it may unfortunately be that they maintain their value till the stocks gone.

Hopefully though once we know how well the new cards perform their might be some shifting in the market, or possible sales to shift the last of the old stock. Also 2nd hand prices might take a sharp dip if a low of people sell their old cards to buy new ones

I still have a couple of geforce 980s in SLi but that's basically defunct these days. I don't really use my PC enough for gaming at the moment to justify buying the new RTX cards but I'll maybe see if I can trade/sell them both and upgrade to something like a 1070/1080 if prices fall as I'd rather have just a single card.

I guess we'll see a drop when the 2070s are released for £500 at which point I'd assume 1080s will drop to ~£400 and 1070s to ~£300?

I've seen the prices of a lot of cards dropping for second hand purchase already. Lots of people selling in a panic because of this. But buying new seems to not have changed?

I'm also wanting to know this. I've just bought a full new upgrade but waiting on the GPU. I'm hoping to get a deal for an msi 1070 for under 350.

I've just had a google and found an armour oc at a competitors site for 380, which is only 20 more than i was expecting to be fair (first time I've seen one under 400). Would a gaming x come into the same price league as this im not too sure and is it worth waiting 4 weeks?

Only play on a 1080p monitor and have no intention of changing anytime soon. If anything I'd buy an oculus rather than a new monitor so just need it to run that
