Replacing Titan with a 1080 or 1070ti

Hope it's okay to post this, since I'm only asking about the secondary market prices.

I'm looking to upgrade my (original) Titan with either a 1080 or a 1070ti, but can't afford new (I'll be buying a core build from OCUK). I've been out of the loop for a while, and everyone's favourite auction site is renowned for people paying more than an items worth.

Can anyone offer me a price-point on what I should be looking to pay for both, used?

Good shout, cheers. I naively (or lazily) hadn't spotted that thread.

I'm struggling to find 1070ti's for sub £300. I'm also struggling to find 1080's for £350 or less. 1080ti's are way out of my price-range.

Not that helpful as you dont have access but there was a 1080 on the members market for £310 the other day. :p

I sold a Founders Edition 1070 Ti for £285 recently and that included RMSD at around a cost of £25. £285 to 300 not bad but insist on RMSD too if you can. Someone in MM does have a few Ti's for sale. THink they're asking £300 and not sold any yet (I think).

I upgraded my titan to a 1080 when it was released 2 years ago. Performance jump is massive.

OG Titans sell for more than they should, I got £280 in November 2016. Having a look around that auction site, they are still selling for that much. Name and DP compute might have something to do with it.

Good to know, thank you. Cheapest 1080 I can find is £380. It's a tri fan OC version though. 380 is a bit more than I wanted to spend though. :(

I'll keep my eye on Titan auctions as I find a 1080.

When I eventually get my life in order and finish my Asteria II project, she'll be my video production system purely because of the OG Titan's compute. I don't see her running the latest games all that well even at 1080p. Hardware-accelerated Adobe Premiere for £200? Get an OG Titan!

£380 for GIGABYTE GTX 1080 8GB WINDFORCE 3X OC - 3 months old. Ideally didn't want to pay more than £350, but even auctions are going over that. Decisions, decisions!
