Who do you use for email?

GMail via Google Apps for Business with my own domain - I was chosen a long time ago to beta test GAFB. I have a 5 user account free until I close my domain.

iCloud with an alias address. This allows me to seamlessly redirects any mail to my account and cut the chord if it gets riddled with spam.

So far, no spam. Unlike my gmail which I’ve had since the days of the invites... which is too far gone to save :(

My own domain with Gmail. Plus about 3-4 other Gmail accounts, one Hotmail, one Yahoo all coming into that. We have an Exchange server at work but I believe it's being migrated to Office 365 (is there a difference? ). With work I do what I'm told, including having to use a corporate iphone :(

I use my hotmail I've had for atleast 15+ years probably longer for stuff I'm not really bothered about and expect spam, such as most forums, games etc etc.

I use a gmail for my more professional contact for the likes of linkedin, cvs, uni and student finance .

I should really change my hotmail address as its rather inappropriate at my age now, having both "spunky" and "69" in the name, but i have so much history on there i dont wish to lose. It does get some laughs when i have to call up places and confirm my email address

If your going to o365 it's no longer hosted on site and they can shut down your current Exchange server, o365 is cloud based exchange.

Ah cool. They're ditching Airwatch as well so I'm hoping i can live the dream of running a dual SIM Android phone rather than lugging around two all the time...

Hotmail for normal internet stuff and daily life.
Gmail for spam, trolling and things I don't care about, things that I will register for once and forgot about.
My own server for real life stuff.

Been itching to start a new acccount, but changing emails for things would be a pain, I guess I could change it as I use the sites and services, instead of doing it in one go.

Really do like Hotmail, but ever since they changed it to that flashy update, it's been terrible, it's slow to load, terrible to use, but been with them since forever.

I setup my own exchange server as I do not want my personal mail on some data center that I don't know about. It's all stored locally.

I use a postfix server for managing spam

Your emails end up on a data centre anyway, anything in someone else's Sent folder that was sent to you and anything you send to them sits in their Inbox...

I've a gmail account for my main personal.

Couple of other gmail accounts, a hotmail account and a UK2 account used for spam.

I've business email set up on my web hosting and a couple of TOR/Anon email accounts that I can't remember the details too.

I personally think that's over the top for email. (unless you have the email addresses forwarded to a main one). I have had my main Apple mail account ever since Apple began doing email and not had any bother with spam or anything.

I've felt the same many a time admittedly. Problem with work emails is that moving from NHS trust to trust means a new email address. Most of my professional subscriptions are linked to one fixed work one. Also like keeping work and personal very separate. I have no interest in getting constant notifications of work related mail.

Work / Home emails are fine but I wouldn't bother with more than that to be honest. Over time it just get's confusing which email was used to sign up to stuff and can get pretty messy and frustrating.

Very true. Wouldn't know where I'd be without lastpass. Hotmail I barely use anyway to that can go more or less immediately

Password loggers are a thing of the future unless they devise another way for passwords to stop been harvested. 2FA works pretty well I think but always need to remember your phone with you that's the only problem. I don't like the complexity of how you have to make passwords these days but I usually use safari to remember passwords.
