Maybe im getting confused here but i remember reading if you add 2 m.2 drives to the board it will limit the number of PCI lanes the graphics card gets. Now i dont have SLI, only a single gfx card, i want to get another NVME m.2 drive to go with my Evo 970, will that be ok?

It won't limit the lanes for the GPU on that board. One slot will use gen 3 lanes from the CPU and one will use 4 gen 2 lanes from the PCH. Put your fastest drive on the slot which uses CPU lanes.

Thanks but i have another question, if i got a SATA m.2 drive does that mean i would have to put my NVME drive in the slower slot? Its what it seems like looking at the specs since only the fast slot has the SATA conection

Nice build. I have the same cooler. Why have you replaced the stock tubing? To get rid of the excess?

thats a 45mm rad in gladding :)

had one of the pumps spare , though I did the tubing a little to short haha, plus needed it clear for the eye hurting RGB - also wider ID to, 10mm vs 8mm . helps with flow rates a little, any bigger ID is pointless due to G1/4 being roughly 11mm in ID

think i'll replace the 2600rpm pump with 3600rpm version

So if i put my 970 evo in the slower M.2 slot will it have any ill effects or should i go spend a little more for a second NVME drive so i can keep the 970 in the fast m.2 slot?

It will hold it back a bit, yeah.

Install the 970 in the fast m.2 slot.
Then install the SATA m.2 drive in the lowest pcie slot with an adapter.
