Kind of torn between 2 RAM kits, Advice

Aesthetically, I prefer the Aorus kit. In terms of price, effectiveness and utility though:

1) You won't notice any difference between 3200 vs 4000mHz. They're both super-fast.
2) If you have 2x8 instead of 4x4, you leave space for future upgrades, if you decide you need 32gb for some madcap reason in the future.
3) Price-wise, both of these sets are pretty expensive. I'm assuming this is a measured decision though, so there's little to discount one over the other.

You need rgb ? Because for sure 8Pack 3200 or 4000 dark pro or xtreme are better kits.

Yeh the timings of those RAM kits that you chose are lose as all hell... Don't shop only for clock speeds. Also look for low latencies to figure out what is best. Indeed medium clock speeds, with very low latencies allows you to operate super fast RAM without over stressing the IMC of the CPU.

There is an 8Pack kit with 3200 CL14 timings which looks far better than the choices you highlighted. But no RGB.

If you must have RGB then Corsair do 3200 CL 14 kits with Samsung B-die (Vengeance Pro RGB) and G.Skill do 3200 CL 14 in their Trident Z RGB as well. B-die also.

Brought the 8pack 3200 c14 kit today, after reading into it, it overclocks very well, just sold my gigabyte gaming 7 WiFi x470 board, although the board itself is excellent, wish I could say the same for the support, Gigabyte, you really need to add a disable spread spektrum option, BLK fluctuates all over the place, and when overclocking, because you cant stop this, it causes instability. I brought an Asus crosshair hero non WiFi instead, don't need the WiFi, and it will never get used, hopefully will be better.
