Is the Ps4 Pro Worth it?

I'm into VR now. Contemplating whether to keep this Ps4 Pro. Looked a few games like farpoint and they do look cool AF.

Any advice? I haven't really tested many gmes to test just how good PS4 Pro is but I'm gaming on a 65 inch 4k tv

Only very recently got a PS4 Pro, God of War and a 4K HDR TV, As a long time PC only player I am incredibly impressed !

Same for me I was blown away, and only 12% through the game so far. I dont have a 4k display but a semi-decent 28" monitor and the living room HD telly still looks amazing on.

If you have a decent PC no real need for a 1X, you can play your xbox buddies on XBL for free (unlike them) and several games cross play PC to PS4 also. If you don't have a decent PC either is a good choice, XB1X more expensive to buy but game pass and EA access makes up for the difference in purchase cost. PS4 Pro to me is a better all-rounder , multi platform games do not look or play as good (slightly lower FPS on occasion) as the 1X but still look and play great, then you have the exclusives which currently the Xb1 has no real answer for unless you like semi arcade racers then Forza Horizon 4 look like its going to be great.
 
I'm using the pro with a 65" 4k hdr tv and more than happy with it, had the psvr for about a year and like it but firewall zero hour has really got my enthusiasm for gaming back, most fun I've had in ages playing it

Exactly the same, picked up a 65" tv and had to get the pro to play on it in 4k hdr, looks fantastic and the same with firewall, it's amazing.
 
Got a PS4 Pro coming this Friday, good deal on the Spiderman bundle even though I'm not particularly interested in the game. Recently got a 4K OLED though so figured it was the right thing to do!

That said, I'm still impressed by how good regular 1080p gaming and content looks on it.
 
YES... Defo... I have PSVR and 4K TV. There is a couple of issues when they are both plugged in together(Already documented) but the 4K performance is superb and the PSVR is loads better in terms of frame rate, clarity and definition over the normal PS4. Definitely worth the upgrade.
 
I upgraded my older PS4 to the PS4 Pro when I got the 4K HDR tv. Amazing visuals. I wouldn't go back to the old PS4 now.

I think you're only going to see the true benefits with a good TV though.

OLED is the best improvement I’ve made for gaming in recent years, yes we don’t have high hz at 4k yet (should be on next years TV’s with variable refresh rate also) but the difference in image quality is mind blowing.

Oh I don’t disagree, just that I now need to upgrade now to a Pro. Lol
