Warning: This video is horrific, 2 children being ripped away from the parent they want to be with.

https://www.facebook.com/james.dubois.1048/videos/1026656260836076/

I honestly felt SICK watching this. How is this in the best interests of the children in ANY way shape or form.

The judge should be ashamed.

The police should be ashamed.

Social services should be ashamed.

The dad, just had to stand there and watch, if he tried to help his kids we all know he would have ended up in handcuffs.

This needs to go viral, as disturbing as it is, and needs to bring around real reform.

Hmmmmm. I'm far too cynical to believe this one sided story. I want the whole story before getting on my pedal stool.

It may well be horrific, it is probably disturbingly interesting, but when I clicked the link, it said, “Sign in with Facebook, or join Facebook to read.”
I’m not on Facebook, and I have no inclination to be on Facebook, so I’ll remain uninformed about this.

Whatever the story is, it is not right that the children were exposed to that sort of stress.
very very true

the father, whether removal of the the kids was right or wrong, is a grade A **** - Why? because he could have made that **** load less stressful for the kids - they were being taken irrespective of his or their wishes, instead of filming constantly he should have been reassuring the kids and trying to calm them. i guess, though, without his sensationalist video he has no facebook story to tell.

It's a good job you clarified this, we were all extremely concerned about your level of informedness.

You never know what the real deal is, but they clearly don't want to go with mum, that's for sure.

Look at the horrors guys like Vidar had to go through with their ex and the kids.

As those said above, it's horrific and there are far too many cases where the mothers story is given more weight than the fathers, but without the full back story you can't make a judgement here.

I watched about 10 sec but I'm guessing power tripping clueless police?
No, not at all. Go project your own bias somewhere else.

I just don't understand why the father is just sitting back here...I don't expect him to try and stop the kids from going but personally he should be reassuring them....giving them a hug etc and telling them it will be ok. I doubt the police would object.

There must be two sides to the story of course but the dad should be reassuring the kids saying he would fight for them still try get them back he said nothing to comfort them which is just shocking.

Situation could have been handled better the police are following orders, they clearly don't look comfortable doing it.

The massive red flag to me there is the kid saying the stuff about his mum hitting him, must be far more to this.

And yet I know of a mother who neglects her own newborn by ignoring it when it's screaming for food, doesn't bother changing it's nappy for 12hrs+ & has sores to the point they're bleeding. The grandmother has tried EVERYTHING to get the child's mother to start taking care of herself and her child (grandmother is severely disabled therefore cannot look after the newborn herself). The mother simply isn't interested as she's a lazy ******.

Social are involved and have made several visits and taken statements from people around her and have ruled that she's a perfectly capable mother. People around her have protested this decision and been told to back off or face legal consequences.

they wouldn't have objected, in fact at one point the male officer even asks 'james can you give us assistance instead of that....' but gives up rather quickly - i'm guessing they have already asked him prior to the video starting to try and calm the kids down.
