Just a quick question, Is it better to put the drain tap on the inlet or outlet of the pump/res combo?

Must be nice having all that flexible tubing and movable blocksI don't even bother with a drain plug, if for any reason I need to drain my loop (which is pretty much only if I buy a new part for it or a new case), all I do is get a jug, remove the CPU block off the CPU, carefully remove one of the tubes off it, and tip the initial fluid out of the block and tube into the jug, then put a clean piece of tube onto the barb on the cpu block, the other end that I removed into the jug and gently blow through the clean tube, 20 seconds later my loop is empty.

, I don't have the funds or the patience to go hardline, and as im always changing parts, especially motherboard lately, it makes it so much easier.

No the pump has one outlet and 2 inlets, all located at the bottom of the res which is mounted low in the case. Once I've drained most out I take off a tube from one of the radiators and connect a clean tube which I blow through to get any remaining liquid out.
