Cat stuck in my back yard

This.

Dogs have owners, cats have staff.

Dogs have owners. Cats have people who like the idea of an animal but dont really want the commitment of one so buy a cat they can just kick out the door and leave some food out before they leave for work. And let someone else worry about picking up its excrement, but they can post pictures on social media of how “cool” it is to own a cat

Yep. That's me. Apart from that we have an intelligent cat flap that took me ages to install. Also apart from the social media bit, the pictures are just for me and occasionally sharing when talking to real life friends about our fur babies :)

Please say that triggered you :p

Ha. Nah.

Dog owners round here let them widdle (* aversion words deployed) and crap everywhere like it's their divine right. And they stink. I love dogs but they stink.

As for cats, ours stays in at night and craps in a covered litter box with a door.

AFAIK our cat isn't on FB/Twitter/Instagram although I wouldn't put it past her.

Who allow their beast to mess on the pavement and if the owners do pick it up then leave the bag hanging on the nearest railing, cats on the other hand bury their waste.

Whilst many dog walkers are complete *****, cats don't always bury. Even when they do they literally just cover it.

Like others have said, lean some wood up against the wall or something like that, the cat will jump the rest of the way if it wants out.

Some locals here just let their dogs dump on my side lawn and leave it, dirty buggers.

This annoys me so much.

It's honestly borderline retarded. The people that do that must be completely stupid; I can't find any other explanation. It would be better in all regards simply to leave it where it landed; at least then it would be washed away or into the soil. Or another dog would come along and eat it :p

I have a cat that periodically takes a liking to my garden and indeed tries to come into my house,it won’t leave no matter what I do, my two German Shepherds are at my parents house whilst I work away, but when they are home, strangely the cat is nowhere to be seen......

Not all of them. Cats keep crapping in a the whole in the ground that our gas meter is in which is right in front of my house. It stinks and it is disgusting. A year or so ago it was doing it on our front mat until we just decided to get rid of the mat.

It makes me laugh, as someone wasnt picking up their dog's poo in the area we live in and a neighbour wrote an angry note which he stuck everywhere complaining.

Said neighbour owns a cat, who i am pretty sure is the one ******* out the front of our house......

People are such hypocrites.

Cats just crap where they want and the owners never truly know where they do it or whether they cover it up.

Chilli powder, they won't come back :p

You can pick up some nasty things from cat poop, it's pretty toxic and it will even poison plants. So there's a good incentive to keep them from leaving dumps in your garden.
