I have the HyperX Alloy Elite with Cherry MX Red switches and bought these black OcUK o-rings to help with the noise of the keys bottoming out however most of the time the keys are double or triple pressing but when I take the o-rings off, the keys are fine so I'm wondering what other o-rings should I try?

How have you put the o rings on?

O rings shouldn't be causing double key presses.
I tried pushing the o-rings to the bottom of the stem and tried leaving it on the top of the stem and press the key a few times for it to naturally pushed into position.

My experience with o rings also resulted in the occasional keypress being registered more than once. I don't know what the solution would be because i switched to another keyboard and am much happier with it.

I had put a couple of theories here but i'm not convinced they have any basis in fact so i've removed them to avoid confusion.
