We were trying so hard to get the RX 580 at £199.99 but unfortunately it would simply mean us selling below cost and Powercolor and AMD have given all the support they can already, so £214.99 is simply the best we can do, I shall keep pushing them, would be nice to hit £199.99 this year, so won't be giving up.

The Vega 56 is nearly sold out, not sure if we can get a repeat on that deal so I do advice you be quick before they get swallowed up, we only have just shy of 50 units left.

Still deliberating as to whether Vega56 represents a value-for-money upgrade for me. (currently Freesync, R9 290X).

Compared to the Gigabyte Vega 64 card price, I don't think it's that tempting an offer, though not too bad either. I think a sub £350 price point is where the 56 would need to be in order to tempt me to buy, though it's unlikely I would pick one as the card I already have is close in performance anyway.

Just checking the 64 prices, I see that one of the others (I think it may have been the Sapphire) has gone up around £40 - £50 again, which is a shame. That or the Powercolor cards are the ones I'd be most interested in if I was buying.

Looks to be a pretty good jump in performance, even if the cost is a little higher than we would want/expect:

There is only one Vega 56 card on the site so maybe something new is coming or AMD didn't produce enough quantity of chips.

We only buy Vega's when my price targets are met and for relatively low volume, as such I make the decision to simply not stock many of them as they are over priced or MOQ's are too high.
There is a lot of aged over priced stock still in channel with no demand and certain manufacturers still have large stocks but the prices are too high for me too take, but there is still demand in other region at the higher prices.

It's a sorry state of affairs when an 18 month old product is selling for very little less than launch price. Not OCUK's fault at all (excellent prices in comparison to elsewhere) but the stagnation is strong in this one, hence my brother is still sitting with his R290X 4 years later. Still, the RX580 is a cracking card for the money in today's market.

If we had launch price exchange rate, we'd be £199 and with the FREE games its an excellent offer in the current climate.
