BMW F30 335i must have options?

I would want pro nav, xenon/LED (adaptive), and HK as a minimum. The HUD is excellent, get it if you can, but it's not essential. The rest are just "nice to haves".

You can get the HUD but no laser lights.

I'd never argue with you, but I literally just specced one for one of the chaps who works for me, and this is a snippet of the build list

Or are we talking about different models?

OP what’s your budget? I’ve had a look at the 340i and from what I’ve seen a few weeks ago the specs were even lower with most not even having pro nav?

The 335i went out of production more than 2 years ago. You can't spec a new one.

I am surprised you can get one worth having for that money. But then I was surprised a 330i SMG was worth the hassle and you proved me wrong there so :p

The 330i SMG is still going strong! My brother in law got it off me and still has it, 150k miles and only normal servicing and repairs!! I still grab it off him to take for a spin sometimes!

Clearly pre lci in that budget - should be easier to get pro nav, less easy to get m sport plus package though.

Xenon still a must!

There's not a lot of F30 335i's in this budget that are worth looking into tbh.

At a minimum, I would want sports seats, pro nav and xenon/LED headlights in one.

I've had a quick look on AT and PH, and you're looking at an average spec '12-'13 model with 50-60k miles.

You might actually be better off searching for a 4 series with this engine.

Edit: There's 2x 435i cars within the budget and under 60k miles, 4x 335i and 1x touring 335i on AT/PH.

Another option is the LCi F10. I don't really like the pre LCi front, but the LCi looks ok.

The LCI F10 is an amazing car in itself, if you don't mind the larger size.

I would still opt in for at least sports seats (standard in M-Sport models) and pro nav (makes the interior look much more modern and elegant).

The only issue you mind find is the scarce availability of 6 cylinder petrol engines.

You're looking at £24k+ for an LCI F10 535i with reasonable mileage.

Not for 14k it's not.

Also the front of the F10 pre LCI with Xenons looks better than the front of the LCI with Xenons and that's coming from someone who has had both and currently has the LCI :p

The black and blue, 16k and 17k both lookto have nice specs. The silver, from the pics the front passenger wing looks a different shade to me.

MSport+ pack & ProNav were my two must-haves. MS+ was bigger wheels, brakes, HK audio (which still needs a tweak of the EQ to get it sounding right), privacy glass and high beam assist (I've got the LCI, so not sure if the last one comes on the Pre-LCI).

Heated seats are well worth it too.

I'd personally pay the extra for the HK system and the Pro Nav. As others have said, the Harman Kardon system isn't perfect, but it does make a big difference to the stock system (which is pretty dire)
