Everyone has their limit. The anti-white-male stuff is EVERYWHERE. Can't turn on the tv for 5 minutes without it hating on me. Can't use social media, forums, games, any website basically. Wikipedia says black pride is good and white pride is racist. I mean COME ON. ENOUGH.

I’ll be honest, the only place I see it is when people (usually @dowie :p) post something on here. I can honestly say it has never effected me once in day-to-day life.

Yes, there are some people out there who probably believe it — a tiny yet vocal minority — but you seem to be taking it way too personally.

Maybe it's a tech sector thing, I'm surrounded by it. Bombard someone with a hateful message long enough and loud enough and they'll flip out eventually. Yeah I'm flipping out, because of the volume of it is beyond reasonable.
 
got in the car to pop to the supermarket, partly coz I needed to go, and partly for a break from the internet.
but... I turn the car on and the local radio comes on (need it for traffic info) and the presenter is having a chat with someone but making everything about race and gender.
So that got turned off pretty sharpish, after a liberal application of expletives.

The Internet is a real cesspit these days. I've steered away from the majority of forums for all the reasons you say. Mention anything positive about Trump or Brexit, the dogs will be set upon you.

Amusing thing is that, just looking at the replies to this thread, everyone seems to have completely different opinions about what threads they want to read etc... some people seem to want no politics/nothing serious, some people get worked up about threads on trivial/silly subjects.

It just seems a bit odd that some get so worked up because others have a different opinion to them. It’s quite easy to just not read certain threads, or to press the back button when you realise it is a thread you’re not interested in.

Getting worked up about it or worse still, getting worked up about it and moaning about it in the thread itself thereby bumping it regularly is rather self defeating.

It's far easier just to not post. I don't go to shops I don't like, it's a personal choice. Saying that, you likely won't get any quality material anywhere on the Internet in this day and age.
