Any dual RTX benchmarks using the new NVLink?

Some of those results seem quite different to what other reviewers have been reporting.

If you read the end he says that when it works it works well. Note the first sentence.

Some of the results are inconsistent with other reviewers - from a quick look at the Rainbow 6 results I think they've not actually re-run all the systems (and using older numbers for some setups) as some of the results for other cards look to be on different versions of the game and drivers to the Turing card results.

Worrying that the AMD GPus just dont;t even work at *k

Weird AF. I reached out to AMD to let them know what's going on, but the Radeon team is so low on staff since they've all left... I don't have many people to go to right now, with technical marketing kind of dead. I'll update this article with a '2.0' piece when/if 8K is repaired on AMD. Until then, sorry Team Red... 7680x4320 is just too hardcore for Radeon right now.

Yeah surprised very worrying and alarming news for Radeon owners. Radeon team under ATi, AMD and Raja Koduri took over RTG as Vice President and Chief Architect had staff headcount capped at 3,000 but now Raja Koduri left nearly a year ago and also Chris Hook left RTG back in April 2018 both joined Intel. RTG team so low on staff could see headcount as low as 1,000 or less so where they gone? Maybe joined either Nvidia or Intel, I think Radeon rogue team are probably loyal to Raja Koduri but no longer loyal to AMD President Lisa Su, RTG Vice President Mike Rayfield and RTG Senior Vice President Engineering David Wang. RTG now no longer has resources and cancelled many Vega features and delayed projects, I dont think RTG will fix 8K so we will see what will happen.

hi.. thinking of transitioning from 2x Vega 64 to dual 2080 ti's.. its the worst purchase i have ever made.. amd needs to focus hard on driver support
the only neat thing abt it being the liquid cooling and no requirement of external connectors

just dropped in to check if the config will work on?
asrock killer sli x370 a/c
size of the NVLink 3 slot or 4 slot?

also, is the NVLink necessary for AFR or the config can still do AFR at half speed without NVLink.
NVLink's availability is a bit suspect in my country.

thanks.

Why are people still clinging to SLI in the state it is in? Just to re-iterate from that Tweaktown review

Back in the day, spending a few hundred quid to get the benefit of SLI when it worked - ok. Now, spending £1000+ to have it idle a lot of the time, just why?

It's more efficient than a single card when played with fps caps..especially with aggressive power mgmt logic..benchmarking reviews done without caps don't provide the full picture
