Hi, so I've got water coming up through the floor where there's a old open pipe, I'm guessing it's coming through the pipe and not the crack next to it (see photo). The water is not coming in under pressure just a trickle (raining quite a bit at the moment as well).
We have lived here 5 years so this pipe must have been there all that time but the today is the first time I've seen any water.
Any advice for a short term fix, maybe a product that will seal the pipe / crack that can be used on a wet surface.
Also long term I'm guessing the floor will need to be broken up around the pipe & investigated further with maybe the damp course being repaired, which is a real pain as the gas meter is right next to that crack (part of it can actually be seen in the photo).

Any advice appreciated thanks.
