Ive noticed the last 2 days, my GTX 1080ti has started showing artifacting in a couple of games, Fifa and Forza Horizon, only seems to be in cutscenes so ive noticed it on the shirts of the announcers in Forza, and the cutscenes in Fifa, in game appears to be fine, although Fifa has started crashing in the last few days as well with a direct X error.

Temps are fine on the card (its water cooled) and ive even backed off to stock speeds and volts but its still happening, any ideas?

Might be a good idea to post a screenshot to give a better idea of the issue, but visual artifacts 'usually' indicate a problem with the cards VRAM.

Thanks, it doesnt show up on the screenshot that i took unfortunately, is there a good artifact checker for vram, i can only seem to find old ones and they wont run on the 1080.

:( Well that's telling in itself, Almost certainly shows the problem is hardware not software related. Maybe the extra volts on your overclock have caught up with the card(?).

I don't know the history of the card so can't really say any more, but it doesn't sound good TBH.

Maybe someone else here will have some more suggestions.

Its weird, doesnt show up in game at all, just on the odd cut scene! Its about 18 months old and has been kept under water the whole time, temps dont get past 50C at max.

I think it's just a Forza issue not your hardware, happens to me too, I have 2 1080ti's, I see the same issues whichever one I render on (and one is only a month old). Cranking up antialiasing fixed it for me (currently at 4k/ultra with 2xmsaa+fxaa.

Not sure what's going on with fifa though.

Can confirm the forza issue . mainly happens on clothing . certain material textures and in certain points on a car such as two textures meeting . again don't know about FIFA . this on a month old 2080
