Has anyone else seen these ads popping up on fb claiming to be ocuk selling items at up to 95% off

Cheers for pointing this out, obviously it's fake in case anyone ever had any doubts.

I've alerted some of the store guys who hopefully will be able to get a message to fakebook about it.

@Gibbo @Dave M

No problem I thought you should be alerted Facebook might actually listen to you guys.

Don't fancy selling me that pc for £57 though do you?

Yes, they take your money and give you nothing.

Read the links I posted from Martin Lewis who is going though the same thing.

There are loads of others on there too, it’s pretty bad but Facebook don’t see themselves as a responsible for the adverts they are selling which is wrong IMO.

Yea I get that they take your ££’s and give you sod all but just curious where clicking on the link takes you to. Is it a website mimicking OcUK’s or just a generic ‘pc for sale’ website.

Given it has your logo in there it should be very easy for image recognition to pick them all up. That's if Facebook give a damn, which they probably don't.

So bad on Facebook.

You see these scams all time and people commenting and going through with it. Facebook are responsible for the content they show

Not according to them they aren't, Facebook are a joke in this regard, want all the money but none of the responsibility that comes with it, every change they make to fixing things is smallest possible step they can make by which they can claim to be doing something when actually its little more than nothing.

It's like ITV saying they aren't responsible for the ads they show or a football club saying they aren't responsible for the banners they have around the pitch.

It's Facebook no surprise in the slightest. Sadly even if OCUK report the issue to FB they'll sit on their thumbs and do nothing as they've been paid.
