Guys.. tech headsss.. girls.. bots.. everyonee
Ok what shall i get?
Most of u know my situation.. 2psus dead in a week...
Some form of crazy power draw done it (i think)
First psu was a 550w (503w on 12v)
2nd psu was the 650w evga gq (lasted 4 days)
But noww?? Im feeling to go for something more beefier.. a 750w

I got a
I7 5820k & fury x....
The extra hundred watts...should give me more headroom even if it is a bronze... i dnt rly care

So lets all vote..
Who thinks the next psu is gona blow?
If this blows? Im gettin a 1000w next

There is a good chance that a new psu will fail if you have had the same thing happen twice already. Have you had an electrician check the electrics ? Are you using a surge protector or straight to a wall socket ?

Nope and nope...

I had a screen plugged into the same socket using a 3way plug and the screen didn't go... no other electronics in the house have failed...
And its happend to my pc twice.. doing the same thing (alt tabbed out of a game/ idle)....
Either i have a new form of virus or i duno

I had the home heating on, eitherway im gonna rebuild the pc from scratch to make sure something isnt being shorted and im gona disable A VRM setting and enable power savings everywhere i can

Graphics card is getting underclocked and the cpu is gettin its o.c turned down toooo

Gonna cap framerate at 100 tooo

Aaaaaaannnnd im gona have a performance recording thing in the background so i know exactly what happens before it blows...

Something on the pc is triggering when its idle for a while....

I did accidentally download spyware around the time it blew up...

Hmmmmm

I also put my cpu voltage to 1.3v around the sameish time....
It was at 1.264 before...
