Shooting wild goats

Yep - She legally hunted on Private land. The land owner got paid to have what he / she may class as a pest kept under control.

Win-win really

The only thing i disagree with is the strange narcissism to take a ******* picture with it, why can't people just do thing's themselves for themselves or immediate locality? Why does the world need to know you've traveled thousands of miles to kill another countries animalia?

As long as the animal is old, made for food, diseased, imminent danger to others or whatever, it's fine in mein eyes. Though a better solution may be to destroy the invasive species altogether or add a predator to do the dirty.

Not entirely sure why its news - there's lots of shooting and hunting in Scotland and some people don't like it. Most people don't care.

As someone who is against the vast majority of hunting, reasons surrounding it and hate the sort of person that feels the need to be pictured with the kill; I file her under the usual ''Abhorrent Human" label.

However, not sure why others have an issue if It's nothing new, and is legal and permitted.

Hardcore Huntress takes down one of natures most dangerous and crafty creatures, the goat, from half a mile away, with a rifle. Tune in next week when our intrepid adventurer will expect plaudits for her latest feat, vanquishing the common hamster using only a sedative dart and a chainsaw!

I find it difficult to empathise with people who kill for enjoyment, I don't have an issue with hunting for food but it's the need to take a photo with the thing you just shot to show off to your mates that I don't really understand.

What people find abhorrent is rich people going around killing wildlife and then posting themselves on the internet with big grins after doing it.

The reasons why the killings are lawful or even if the ends are required, it's these means that people don't like. And it's quite understandable why. Quite apart from it looking unnecessarily cruel, it normalises and glorifies trophy hunting which isn't always legal or required. Quite the opposite.

If things need culling. Cull them, don't let *****s do it for fun.

your first mistake was underestimating the danger a well armed hamster can pose....

A well organised hamster sporting a cult of personality and living in a Country suffering from economic constraints imposed by other nations and in relation to a historical conflict could even manage to rise to a seat of power. You could then find yourself in a situation where you have an army of jackbooted hamsters coming after you.

I'll be keeping my eye on you chap.

She’s hot with the crazy eyes so she gets a pass.

That's all well and good but her last boyfriend is now a leather jacket.

I'd probably go along with this. When you're posting to FB about how smug you are about killing [x] then that's not you doing a good job (culling), that's you bragging.

Ayyahuasca - I'll give you the crazy eyes but for a man running the Misc game, that's a straight 6 boi not a 'hot'. Check yourself.

This.

The goats are non-native and invasive, so killing them is not really a problem, and shooting them is perfectly humane.
But you've got some serious mental issue if you enjoy killing a harmless animal, and then feel like getting your photo taken with it with a ridiculous smile.

it is a goat, there is no skill involved at all shooting from 500yds with a high powered rifle.

Never understood killing for a sport. I get that it can be a means to gather food, but killing for the 'gram.. nah
