Any short term tv rentals?

Any normal person would just go on Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace and pick up a cheapie. Who the hell rents a TV for just a few weeks? I think Radio Rentals are long gone. :D

I take it the OP wants to rent the latest super duper model rather than making do for 10 days.

Even if I did, so what? I was just looking for an option where I didn't need to waste money on a short term purchase.

Use your PC and monitor?

Will do I think, it's just not ideal.

If I was still in Liverpool I'd drop you a spare one round but back in the Midlands I'm afraid.

Grab a cheapO from Tesco Direct and then you always have one for rainy days. Or if money is tight then Gumtree like others have said but being house bound means youll need help.

Rental wise I'm not sure but if you can get to a cash converters or somewhere you could buy and then return back for a small loss.

I'm in Skelmersdale and have a 43" (or 46, can't remember) Samsung for £60 if you want it.
Works perfectly, just not needed as going for something a bit newer. It's around 5 years old, but works OK.

2 options I would consider:

1. Buy one used off FB/Gumtree etc, then re-sell when no longer required.
2. Buy one from an online store, have it delivered, then before the 14 day Distance selling regs (which isn't called DSR anymore), period is over, specify that you have changed your mind & wish to return it (generally needs to be within the next 2 weeks, so could potentially get weeks from it). - Check it's somewhere that is either free postage both ways, or will refund postage/can drop it off in store to reduce your costs.

Agree with the posters not to rent. I know it's quite popular with the retro PC scene, enthusiasts prowl car boot or recycling yards - might be worth a try?

The op is now sorted :p
