Do you keep the boxes ?

Yes all the little boxes go in the big boxes then they go in the loft, occasionally there will be a box cull to get rid of boxes for things I don't own anymore, or which belong to items I no longer have, or which aren't worth much anymore, or I know I'll never sell, etc...

Always keep boxes for everything I might possible want to replace in the future and only chuck them out when I sell something or something breaks.

Just moved and thank god we kept the TV boxes for easy transport.

I keep my pc hardware boxes for RMA or resale.

This is what I do also.

I even do it for items that are less than £100. It's just common sense to do so.

Large boxes for TV's etc ... Get flat-packed to save on space.

Just binned loads of 6 month old computer component boxes today...

But I'm in a flat with no loft to shove everything in to.

if it's something small like a phone or a watch yes owt big i chuck not enough room kept my mission floorstander speakers boxes for 10 years then thought I'm never gonna sell them so what's the point in cluttering up the flat. plus i cant be arsed selling old stuff on ebay anymore too much hassle non paying bidders ect..

I would sooner put my car in the garage and bin boxes worth a few quid - Saying that I must be one of the few who has a garage you can get a car in. :rolleyes:

Items I expect I will resell on at some point, GPUs, CPUs and so on I keep. For items I expect to keep until they perish ( Hoover, microwave, kettle etc) I will keep box a few weeks then throw away.

To the point where I seriously think I have to put a smoke detector up in the loft. I've floored it so now there is so much cardboard, paper, clothing, bedding and DIY stuff up there that is really is one super-sized tinder box :eek:
